Megan Van Dyk has noticed that I haven’t blogged in quite some time; 2 weeks or so? I’m just living the life that has been so demanding leaving my blog life neglected. poor blog. Anyways, I’m sure all 1 of you are dying to have word that I’m still alive and my facebook and twitter just won’t suffice.
Now onto more important things: what happened to winter? It’s been so beautiful feeling the cool breeze with the hint of sunshine rather than the constant rain and threat of snow. [I think I have spoke too soon because apparently it’s supposed to rain/possibly snow starting wednesday].
I have finished week 1 of my credentials to become a teacher in the state of California and it was actually very interesting. I’ve actually decided to use this blog as an outlet for my experience in the program so more on that coming later.
Also to come soon, pictures of the dashing bride, Hillary [formerly Wragg] Trahern. Once I figure out how to mass transfer pictures from the iphone and using that icloud thing I can show you those beauties.

My 2011
It would not be the end of a year without some personal reflection of my experiences throughout 2011. This year has been so challenging; full of some great change and complete dependence on God.
This year I experienced some friendships deepen and develop, for which I am so thankful!

I tore my ACL and had surgery, blah.

I researched and researched, finished my senior paper and graduated college!

A friend got married…

and I spontaneously moved to San Diego for a couple months.

Laughed and planned lots with this sister friend of mine.

I moved to the northern section of California.

Flew down south to visit some dear friends…

…and attend Yule with Luke Womack.

And finally spent some QT with this lady, my mama.

Like I said, 2011 has been filled with great joys and accomplishments but challenges as well. I am welcoming 2012 with open arms and excited to see what may come with my new setting and schedule. I am eager to start my credential program at Simpson University and complete grad school. All glory to God who gives and takes away!
